The 5-2 favorite should be in good shape in the 20-horse field. LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Derby favorite California Chrome drew a favorable No. 5 starting spot Wednesday for Saturday's 140th Run for the Roses.

Yosemite National Park prescribed fire postponed; rescheduled for early May

Author(s):  For The Madera Tribune Yosemite National Park fire managers have re-scheduled a prescribed fire in the Bishop Creek area for early May. The prescribed fire, originally scheduled for the end of April, is postponed because of forecasted rain in the area. Yosemite is expecting up to one inch of rain throughout the park.
